DEFINITIONS

Service(s): Any of the services provided by Urban Rose

Client: The main recipient of the Service(s)

Agreement: The agreement between the Client and Urban Rose, confirmed by email, for provision of the Service(s)

Fee: The amount payable by the Client to Urban Rose for the Service(s) in the Agreement

The Event: The occasion and venue where the Service(s) will be provided by Urban Rose

Party: Persons in addition to the Client requiring Service(s) at the Event

Studio: Urban Rose Studio, 9 Parkview Apartments, La Route du Fort, St Saviour, JE2 7PA

BOOKING – WEDDING DAY MAKEUP/HAIR

Services are secured upon receipt of a £100 retainer for bookings.

The retainer payment can be made before or after a trial session, if required. Receipt of a retainer payment confirms the Agreement and secures the Urban Rose’s availability for the Event on the agreed date and time for the agreed Fee.

The retainer is deducted from the final Fee due. Enquiries for which a retainer has not been paid are not confirmed and therefore availability cannot be guaranteed and an Agreement is not formally in place.

Retainers are non-refundable – this is to cover our administration costs in dealing with your enquiry.

Cancellations are only deemed valid if received via email.

The Fee is always agreed via email, verbal agreements are not offered as they are not deemed valid by Urban Rose.

Urban Rose reserves the right to cancel special offers and rates at any time, with the exception of where an emailed Agreement is already in place with the Client.

BOOKING – OTHER MAKEUP/HAIR/LESSONS

Bookings are secured upon email confirmation from Urban Rose. This confirms the Agreement and secures Urban Rose’s availability for the Event on the agreed date and time for the agreed Fee.

Cancellations are only deemed valid if received via email.

The Fee is always agreed via email, verbal agreements are not offered as they are not deemed valid by Urban Rose.

Urban Rose reserves the right to cancel special offers and rates at any time, with the exception of where an emailed Agreement is already in place with the Client.

PAYMENT – HAIR/MAKEUP

An invoice for the balance of the Fee will be sent from Urban Rose to the Client 4 weeks before the date of the Event, unless the Event is in less than 4 weeks’ time in which case it will be sent immediately after the booking has been secured.

Full payment of the balance of the Fee is required 2 weeks before the Event at the latest, if the Event is less than 2 weeks away full payment is required to secure the booking.

Payment can be accepted by bank transfer.

Bookings are only confirmed once the funds have cleared in Urban Rose’s bank account.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

It is the Client’s responsibility to inform Urban Rose of any potential issues such as but not limited to medical conditions, allergies, and/or sensitivities. Urban Rose cannot be held liable for any condition that arises or loss incurred by the Client if the Client has not informed Urban Rose of any known conditions as stated above, or of any conditions unknown to the Client at the time of the service.

Urban Rose reserves the right to cancel the Agreement if the behaviour of the Client is deemed inappropriate and/or if the Client reports a condition that Urban Rose deems as a risk to the Client’s health and well-being. In these cases any payments that have already been made by the Client for the service are non-refundable.

URBAN ROSE RESPONSIBILITY

Urban Rose will always endeavour to honour the Agreement to the best of its ability.

There may be circumstances beyond the control of Urban Rose where we may be unwell, delayed or otherwise unavailable, sometimes at short notice. In such a case Urban Rose will inform the Client at its earliest convenience and endeavour to make favourable alternative arrangements if possible.

Urban Rose reserves the right to offer the Client compensation in the event that it is not able to honour the Agreement. This is entirely dependent on the circumstances and will be discussed openly and honestly with the Client.

CANCELLATIONS

Unless specified differently on the webpage for the service:

  • Payments made to Urban Rose for a service that is subsequently cancelled by Urban Rose will be refunded in full within 7 days of the cancellation.

  • Cancellations by the Client for a wedding service that are received less than 4 weeks before the start of the service incur the full cost of the booking. For cancellations received before this time, all payments made, with the exception of payments for trial sessions and the retainer, will be refunded within 7 days of the cancellation.

Cancellations for services booked where travel and/or accommodation expenses have been paid for by Urban Rose and are non-refundable by the travel/accommodation provider(s) will incur full reimbursement from the Client to Urban Rose for the travel and/or accommodation costs paid.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are not transferable.

Gift vouchers are only refundable if cancelled via email sent to kiera@urbanrose.je within 14 days of purchase. Refunds will be issued within 7 days of receipt of cancellation.

Bookings for gift voucher services are to be made via email to kiera@urbanrose.je and are confirmed via email by Urban Rose.

Once a date has been reserved for the gift voucher service it can only be amended once and the amendment must be received via email to kiera@urbanrose.je at least 2 weeks before the start of the service, otherwise the gift voucher is deemed null and void by Urban Rose.

CHANGES TO SERVICES AND PRICES

Prices for products and services are subject to change without notice.
Urban Rose reserves the right to modify or discontinue a service (or any part or content thereof) at any time without notice.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT DETAILS

Maximum time allocation for trials: the maximum time that the Team can spend on any one trial is 2 hours for a makeup or hair booking or 4 hours for a makeup and hair booking. Any additional time required for trial sessions will have to be booked as a repeat trial.

Repeat trials: If a second makeup and/or hair trial are requested the same fee applies as for the first trial.

Makeup/hairstyling services for younger members of the Party: makeup services for members of the Party who are up to 10 years old are complimentary. This will only include lip gloss, blusher, and shimmery eyeshadow application.
If a more complete makeup service is required the full bridesmaid’s price will apply.

Additional attendees to bookings at the Studio: If more than 1 additional person will be attending a booking at the Studio along with the Client Urban Rose are to be informed at the booking stage to ensure everyone can be comfortably accommodated.

PLEASE NOTE THAT BY SECURING A BOOKING AND/OR PURCHASING A GIFT VOUCHER THE CLIENT ACCEPTS THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
